Buenos dias Alter do Chao
After last nights festivities (music - videos on Facebook) I got up early to see the town as the sun was coming out. Here are some random shots of this tranquilo little village which, in a few hours, will be hopping as weekenders arrive from nearby Santarem to partake in the pretty beach and consume vast amounts of watery beer with German-sounding names like Kaiser, Schin and Eisenbahn. Yes, Eisenbahn, as in train.
