Arrival at the Mamirauá Reserve, and Uakari Lodge. It's an hour long flight from Manaus to Tefé and then another hour or so up the river to the reserve. The first day was spent arriving, checking in, unpacking, and meeting our fellow guests, biologists and guides. Then, a boat ride in the afternoon to see the sights. Soaking it all in - fabulous.
